Refund Travel's Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Cash Back Refund work?
Most travel services attract a commission when a travel agency arranges travel for a customer. These commissions are paid to the travel agency after the travel, accommodation or car hire has taken place. Due to our high volume of online sales and our Intelligent Ticketing, we are able to simply split the commission paid with the person who books these services through the Refund Travel web site.

Who pays commissions?
Most airlines and hotels pay a commission. There are however a few exeptions.
- Domestic flights do not attract a commission.
- Qantas & Jetstar will not pay a commission for flights to New Zealand.
- Thrifty, Avis and Hertz are the only car hire companies that we have an arrangement with.
While it is possible to book these services through our site please be aware that commissions are not paid therefore a Cash Back Refund for these services cannot be received.
